Job Description

Essential Duties:

• Effectively uses shop packages to include, but not limited to manufacturing orders, bill of materials, routings, part prints, job layouts, and quality alerts
• Ensures that gases and tools that are used are within calibration dates
• Sets up and operates multiple machines simultaneously as required by the routing
• Sorts and reworks non-conforming parts as required
• Produces product to established quality standards and notifies direct supervisor if non-conforming product is found
• Participates in SQCD Board meetings as scheduled
• Performs quality checks per WEOP0855 and associated Inspection Record (QF08120)
• Requests raw material in a timely manner as needed for production and maintain accuracy of all inventory procedures
• Performs and documents preventative maintenance according to released methods 100% of the time
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Ability to safely and properly operate and set up various production machines.
• Basic computer knowledge
• Ability to do simple math calculations
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and blue prints.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and fill in required quality forms.
• Ability to read and properly use measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gages, and other inspection devices as needed.
• High School Education or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
