Job Summary

W e are seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Operations Administrator to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure. This role involves designing and maintaining secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments, supporting onboarding efforts, and leading automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines, and will play a critical role in maintaining cloud performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Job Description

• Design and manage cloud tenant hierarchy and allocate resources efficiently.
• Guide users and departments through cloud onboarding and accelerator services, including training and support.
  
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code deployments.
  
• Create and maintain Terraform scripts and templates for deploying various Azure cloud services.
  
• Ensure intra/inter-tenant connectivity is secure and effective.
  
• Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud frameworks aligned with business goals.
  
• Define and enforce cloud policy assignments to ensure compliance and best practices.
  
• Implement and maintain cloud security controls, conduct regular security audits.
  
• Monitor cloud usage and costs, and implement cost optimization strategies.
  
• Develop and manage cloud backup and recovery processes.
  
• Continuously monitor and tune cloud performance for optimal resource usage.
  
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to industry standards.
  
• Drive innovation and automation to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks.
  
• Design, manage, and optimize Docker image strategies for scalable deployments.
  
• Optimize GitHub runners for CI/CD workflows to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues related to Terraform deployments in Azure.
  
• Mentor junior team members in Docker management and GitHub runner configurations.
  
• Identify and implement process improvements in DevOps practices and infrastructure management.

Skills Required

• 5–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management.
• Proven expertise in Terraform, Azure, and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management, security, and compliance.
  
• Experience in automation, performance tuning, and user onboarding.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.

Additional Requirements

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate is preferred
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals is preferred
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate is preferred
