Civil/Structural PE

6 month contract to hire

Day to Day

A small sized Engineering company is looking for either a full time Structural/Civil PE OR 2 part timers to play a crucial role in the design and sign off on civil and structural aspects of projects (drainage, sidewalks, roadways, and concrete steps, analysis of loads added to upgrade air handlers, additions/decks, custom residential design) to VA Hospitals, Military Bases, campgrounds, and National Parks. The PE will integrate themselves into a multidisciplinary team and work on (10%) design review, (40%) designs, (5%) client meetings, (5%) analyzing topographical/geological data, (5%) RFI Responses, and (35%) on various tasks including light Project Management depending on level of interest. They will oversee the design work of one dotted line engineer. Candidates will need a PE in any state, experience with Civil 3D, and excellent communication/time management skills, and Civil/Structural experience is preferred. Can structure this as a part time role depending on the individual case of a candidate. This is a 6 month contract to hire position (will go permanent after 6 months)

Must Have

BS Engineering

Licensed PE (Colorado preferred)

5-10+ years of experience in Structural AND Civil commercial Design

Experience supporting Federal MEP upgrades/renovation projects

Excellent Verbal and written communication

Civil 3D experience

Plusses

Experience working on Federal contracts (Army Corps preferred)

Experience working with Hospitals or National Parks
