Pride Health is seeking candidates for Certified Medical Assistant for a Local contract that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Newport Beach, CA . It's a TEMP TO HIRE contract.

Brief Description:
Responsibilities include recording patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history, preparing items necessary for the visit like consents and special equipment, and assisting the provider during the examinations.
Cleans and prepares exam rooms and sterilizes instruments per protocol, prepares and administers medications for patients as directed by the physician and completes prescription refills. Follows standardized procedures for giving injections to patients.
Additionally , the lead coaches and directs activities of Back Office Assistants to ensure smooth operations.
Counsels and/or assists with progressive disciplinary process as needed and coaches to correct deficiencies/improve performance. Coordinates/participates in the interview and selection process of new Back Office Assistant team members.
Verifies daily/weekly/monthly logs. Responsible for monitoring patient flow.
Performs other duties as assigned. Oncology and Specialty Clinics: Follows clinic guidelines for handling instruments and equipment utilized in clinic procedures.

Guaranteed Hours: 40hrs/week
Pay Range: $1,200 - $1,320/gross week
