Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Needham, MA . This contract-to-hire opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Perform Clinical and Non-Clinical Duties: Conduct direct patient care activities such as taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, administering injections, and assisting with EKGs, while also managing administrative tasks like patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and data entry.
• Coordinate Pre-Visit Preparations: Ensure all necessary pre-visit activities are completed, including organizing patient charts, addressing special patient needs, and scheduling relevant labs and tests before appointments.
• Facilitate Patient Flow: Escort patients to examination rooms, take vital signs and prepare them for provider evaluations while maintaining a patient-sensitive and professional environment.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program.
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
• Over 1 year of experience.

Additional Information:

• Location: Needham, MA 02494.
• Job Type: contract to hire.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:30 am to 05:00 pm
• Pay Range: $ 20.00 to 29.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
