Position Summary:

Our client, a leading hospital system in Houston, is seeking a Cardiac MRI Technologist (CMRI Tech) to join their advanced imaging team. This role requires a skilled technologist capable of working independently while delivering high-quality cardiovascular MRI services. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, technical expertise, and a patient-centered approach to care. In addition to routine imaging, there may be opportunities to participate in research projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide direct support to physicians during diagnostic and interventional CMRI procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and MRI safety protocols to maintain high levels of patient care and operational excellence.
• Prepare and position patients, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• Participate in quality assurance programs and, when applicable, research activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of MRI experience , with at least 1 year in cardiovascular imaging .
• Certification in one or more of the following:
• RDMS , RDCS , CCI , CNMT , ARRT with ARRT-MR , ARMRIT , or CMRT
• BLS certification (can be obtained during onboarding)
• 2 to 5 years of overall MRI experience preferred, with strong preference for candidates with at least 1 year of cardiac imaging experience
