Job Description

Job Title: Call Center Representative

Location: Manhattan, NY 10004

Pay Range: $26/hr - $30/hr

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Duration: 2+ Months

Duties

  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel clinic appointments according to established protocols.
  • Make reminder calls to patients regarding upcoming appointments to ensure attendance and reduce no-shows.
  • Respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, clinic hours, and general scheduling concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and route them appropriately using in-house phone systems and pagers.

Required Skills

  • Extensive phone experience with a strong ability to manage multiple lines and callers.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of electronic scheduling and communication systems.
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy clinical environment.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 year call center, with Payroll and Timekeeping experience required.
  • Bilingual - Spanish required.
