Job Description

Body Shop Detailer Kenny Kent Collision of Evansville, In. is looking for a full-time Detailer to join our body shop team! Previous experience is helpful but not required – if you have a positive attitude and are a hard worker, we will teach you the rest! This position is perfect for someone who is interested in auto body repair and/or interested in the exposure and working with an experienced team! Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Clean vehicles thoroughly inside and out after repairs prior to final delivery to customer
• Clean the shop, dispose of trash and old parts and assist technicians with organizing parts.
• Assist in transporting vehicles for sublet repairs.
• Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service.
• Maintain proper function of all service tools and equipment.
• Directly report any damage to the supervising manager in a clear and timely fashion.
• Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members.
• Maintain excellent standards and quality of service to positively represent the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to work within production schedules and deadlines.
• Must be reliable, thorough, trustworthy, and detail-oriented with strong oral communication skills and work ethic.
• Must be punctual and organized with a strong sense of time management.
• Willingness to follow instructions, knowledge of shop safety, and be an effective team player.
• Must have a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and legal working status.

Chosen candidates will be able to successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and have a good driving record. Rate of pay will be determined by previous experience.
