BD Rep - I&E/Automation/Controls - Engineering & Construction

Gryphon Oakwood are seeking a Business Development Rep to join an exciting engineering and consultancy firm based in Houston.

The ideal candidate will need to identify and cultivate new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients. Relationships in Midstream O&G, Municipal Water/Wastewater, Mining, Manufacturing or RNG is crucial for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business within key sectors like oil & gas, utilities, manufacturing, and mining by identifying, prospecting, and securing opportunities.
• Create and implement strategic plans to meet sales goals and grow the customer base.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through effective communication and a focus on providing solutions.
• Work closely with internal teams, such as engineering and project management, to ensure smooth delivery of tailored solutions.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitor activities through market research.
• Increase brand visibility and attract potential clients by representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
• Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and sales reports for clients and internal stakeholders.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the automation, electrical, or industrial sectors.
