Help lead the Future of Traffic Control Operations at a Premier Parking & Transportation Company

Compensation: Competitive $60,000 - $75,000 base salary + comprehensive benefits package

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with a premier parking and transportation company in Las Vegas to hire an Assistant Operations Manager. This is a high-impact, direct-hire leadership role reporting to upper management and overseeing traffic control equipment, fleet maintenance, and special event operations. You’ll ensure safety-conscious, on-time, and budget-friendly effectiveness, with opportunities to contribute to business development efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

Traffic Control & Operations

  • Direct and optimize traffic control and special event setups, including review and approval of Traffic Control Plans (TCPs).
  • Hire, develop, and mentor staff on safety protocols, traffic management techniques, and equipment operation.
  • Partner with leadership on continuous improvements to event operations, systems, and procedures.
  • Coordinate all special event activities, ensuring seamless execution and issue resolution.
  • Manage scheduling, permitting, and documentation for events and projects.
  • Represent the department in administrative and partner meetings.
  • Assist with departmental billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Oversee and optimize maintenance, records, and insurance for the full fleet of vehicles, VMS boards, and equipment.
  • Ensure strict compliance with industry standards and all federal, state, and local regulations, including MUTCD requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to drive alignment with company policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of management experience in traffic control or similar, with a focus on leading teams and driving results.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on developing people and building high-performing teams
  • OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 preferred.
  • ATSSA certified flagger and ATSSA TCT/TCS preferred; Traffic Control Design Specialist (TCDS) preferred; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and clear background; must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written); able to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, maintain confidentiality, and work cooperatively with others.
  • Proficient with computers/handheld applications and have reliable transportation
  • Flexible schedule — able to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and at varying locations.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols with fine finger/hand coordination.
  • Exposure to distracting noise and outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and wet environments.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform frequent physical motions such as climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, repetitive lifting up to 100 pounds, stretching, sitting, walking on uneven ground and stairs.
