Job Description

We’re searching for a boots-on-the-floor leader to help drive day-to-day operations at a high-volume distribution center serving the plumbing and industrial supply markets.

As Assistant Distribution Center Manager , you won’t be stuck behind a desk—you’ll be right there with the team, actively managing workflows, solving problems, and ensuring products move efficiently and accurately through the facility.

This is a hands-on leadership role , ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and leads by example. That said, you should be capable of the “desk stuff” too, specifically WMS (warehouse management systems) and inventory management!

What You’ll Do:

• Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to warehouse staff
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and replenishment operations
• Champion safety, accuracy, and efficiency across all warehouse processes
• Partner cross-functionally with Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service
• Assist in developing training programs and cultivating a strong team culture
• Lead by doing—this is an on-the-floor leadership position, not a desk job

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years in distribution, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Proven leadership experience in a warehouse environment
• Experience with inventory management systems and WMS platforms
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to juggle priorities while maintaining focus on results
