Alcuin School - Seeking Seasonal Part-Time Assistant Coaches, Fall 2025

Job Description:

Alcuin School is seeking energetic, reliable, and positive-minded Assistant Coaches to support our Elementary, Middle, and Upper School athletic teams during the Fall 2025 season . These are part-time, seasonal position ideal for individuals who are passionate about athletics and eager to help student-athletes grow in skill, confidence, and character.

Positions being sought:

• Assistant Varsity Volleyball - practices M/W 3-5:30pm. Some Fri 4-6pm. Games T/Th/F afternoons.
• Assistant 5th/6th Volleyball - practices Tues 3:30-4:30pm, Wed 3:30-5pm. Games T/Th afternoons.
• Assistant Middle School Soccer - practices T/W/Th 7-8:30am. Games M/Th afternoons.

Responsibilities:

• Assist head coaches in organizing and running practices and games
• Supervise student-athletes and help maintain a safe, respectful team environment
• Support skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
• Attend practices, competitions, and team meetings as scheduled
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor for students

Qualifications:

• Experience playing or coaching sports for primary and secondary students
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
• Available for weekday morning and/or afternoon practices
• Must complete background check and required training

Compensation:

Positions are stipend based. Amount varies based on level of experience.
