**Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic**
**Job Description**
Engage in the assembly and refurbishment of CASA 212 and CASA 235 aircraft. This position involves working in the component shop and may also require parts painting. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and testing aircraft components in compliance with FAA standards.
**Responsibilities**
+ Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, repair, and test aircraft components in line with Component Maintenance Manuals and FAA requirements.
+ Perform maintenance in accordance with FAA approved data and Airbus Defense & Space standards.
+ Prioritize flight safety while ensuring the production of airworthy aircraft.
+ Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
+ Use necessary safety precautions, including protection from chemicals, engine hazards, and falls.
+ Record information accurately on company and aircraft maintenance documents.
+ Use the correct tools for applications, ensuring they are serviceable and calibrated.
+ Implement technical data appropriately during maintenance.
+ Demonstrate painting skills for aircraft parts, including preparation and application.
+ Perform additional duties as assigned by the Component Shop and MRO Leads.
+ Comply with OSHA Safety Regulations.
+ Participate in on-the-job training and observe safety procedures.
+ Maintain regular attendance as outlined in company policy.
**Essential Skills**
+ A&P License
+ 5+ years experience as an Aircraft mechanic
+ Experience with CASA 212 or CASA 235 aircraft preferred
+ Experience with turboprop or fixed wing aircraft, heavy commercial or military
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Knowledge of aircraft painting and safety
+ Experience with flight controls, landing gear, and component modifications

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mobile, AL.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
