What’s a typical day as Accounting Assistant? You’ll be:

• Processing receipts and posting cash receipts; maintaining a monthly cash receipt file prior to processing in the accounting system.

• Assisting with accounts receivable by tracking deposits and payments, and helping with payment disputes and data entry.

• Processing accounts payable, including entering invoices for payment and maintaining vendor files; reconciling accounts to resolve any issues.

• Provide and create any accounting reports as necessary.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and adhere to all relevant compliance regulations.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have an Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Possess a minimum of two years of experience in an accounting or billing support position.

• Are knowledgeable in basic bookkeeping procedures and familiar with finance laws and regulations.

• Demonstrate a high attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.
